Thursday

Hello Everyone. Nothing new to report today -- no marathons, no special liturgies or anything like that -- I'm just checking in. We are looking forward to our Stewardship Recognition Celebration tomorrow evening here at the parish. Twelve parishioners will be honored for their service and dedication to the community (which is something we do every year). While it is an honor for the individuals who will be recognized it gives us an opportunity to thank EVERYONE who is an active part of this wonderful parish. As well we hope that others will embrace the call to be good stewards of the many gifts that God has given us.

May God bless you in abundance today.

Whew!

Well, it's over. Thanks to a LOT of help from the school and parish community I was able to complete 26.2 miles on the treadmill today in the Family Center. It was a fantastic day, with many folks calling in, watching the live feed or coming by to check it out. We also recorded donations in excess of $15,000 for our ceiling renovation project.

Now I'm pretty tired so I'm going to take a looooong shower and then get some rest before celebrating Reconciliations tonight. After that, it'll be early to bed for this guy!

Thanks for watching/reading. May God continue to bless you.

Peace,
fbill

10 hours away!

Okay, I've tried to drink a lot of water today, I've been keeping loose all day and I just ate a huge plate of pasta at Macaroni Grill. I think I'm ready for tomorrow's big event. I'm really excited for the marathon to be here as I believe it is bringing a lot of excitement from the community, and attention to the fact that our school building needs some renovation/upkeep. All of this will help us to restore those old, ugly, stained ceilings this summer -- and to bring us efficient and better lighting for our hallways and classrooms.

Thank you for all of your support. We truly are blessed to be part of this wonderful community.
God bless,
Fr. Bill
