Hello from the pastor's office!
Today we celebrate the feast day of Blessed Basil Moreau, CSC -- the founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Blessed Moreau wished to gather people around him who would spread out around the world to be "Educators in the Faith". All of us today are part of that legacy, and we hope to teach others about Jesus Christ through everything we say and do.
I'm training for the big walkathon to benefit the school. On February 2, I will be walking 26.2 miles on a treadmill in the Family Center of the school. It should take about 8 hours if all goes well. Come by to encourage me and say "Hello." Also, if you are so inclined, feel free to make a donation or a pledge. All funds received will go toward replacing our ceilings, which look like old, stained, and ugly asbestos ceilings (fortunately, they are not asbestos!).
