Deacon Paul became Father Paul on Saturday, April 30 at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Indiana. It was a wonderful ceremony on a beautiful spring day, witnessed by hundreds and hundreds of people -- including nearly 80 of our parishioners. I don't think that I ever saw Fr. Paul NOT smiling the whole weekend! He did very well presiding over his First Mass the next day, even though the Basilica was filled with family members, friends, parishioners, students and fellow Holy Cross priests, brothers and sisters.
Paul, thank you for saying "Yes" to God's invitation to serve us as a priest. Be assured of our prayers for you as you bring Christ to us through the sacraments and through your very life!
